??EMPLOYMENT SKILLS WORKSHOP SERIES??

Sydney Multicultural Community Services (Sydney MCS) in partnership with the Australian Red Cross delivered a series of career skills workshops and activities to assist new migrants with career planning, developing effective job search skills including developing resume, improving job interview skills, and building professional skills to make a good impression in the workplace.

The 6-part series included how to approach employers, focused on importance of relevant computer skills and presentation skills in this competitive job market.
The employment workshop ended yesterday where the participants of the workshop were given the opportunity to get fitted with free smart casual clothing for their interview.

Sydney MCS partnered with Thread Together to help the participants style them, get them ready for their next interview.

We would like to thank the amazing team of Thread Together for their generosity. Their mobile wardrobe team gave some great tips and tricks to the participants on how to dress up for interview.
