Here at Sydney Multicultural Community Services, we care about the community and understand the challenges brought on by the pandemic. That’s why we have employed a Multicultural Generalist Case Worker to assist those who are doing it tough.
The Case Worker will be providing much needed support to migrants who aren’t eligible to access certain services and to assist all in our community including youth, seniors and families to improve well-being and their quality of life.
The service provisions will include but not limited to:
Providing information and referral services
Advocacy for Housing NSW applications
Resolving Centrelink issues, documentary supports such as
filling forms (where permitted)
Assistance with EAPA vouchers and in resolving issues arising
from clients being over charged with energy bills
Accompanying vulnerable clients including single mothers and
victims of domestic violence
Attending local courts, liaising with Legal Aid NSW and
organising Interpreting services
Assistance in obtaining No Interest Loans for individuals and
families on low income
So if you or anyone you know needs assistance, then please don’t hesitate to contact Sydney MCS on 02 9663 3922 or email info@sydneymcs.org.au.
