In this brand new series of nature diary, we are combining bushwalk and drawing together to allow nature lovers experience Sydney’s biodiversity from a different perspective!

This time, we explore the natural beauty of the Wentworth Pass in Blue Mountains National Park.

Meet in front of Wentworth Falls Train Station @10am on Sunday, 18 March. We will take the Charles Darwin Walk (2.4km one-way, ~1hr) from the train station into the national park and then embark the National Pass loop track (4.5km loop, ~3hrs).
Check out this link for more information: http://www.nationalparks.nsw.gov.au/things-to-do/walking-tracks/wentworth-pass-loop-walking-track

Along the track, we will see amazing views of the waterfall plunging down into the Jamison Valley. We will also encouter numerous native flora and fauna – make sure you take a photo of your favourite creature for later drawing.

Please remember to bring a sketch book, pencils, plenty of water, lunch, sunscreen and a hat.

Please also bring a gold coin donation or make a donation when you RSVP online through EventBrite https://www.eventbrite.com.au/e/bushwalk-nature-drawing-tickets-42841457954 to support the conservation of Australia’s unique wildlife.
