Randwick Wetlands Walk & Social Event

November 24, 2014 at 4:10 am

Please join us for a fun and informative walk & talk through the Randwick Wetlands!

Randwick Wetlands

A great way to round off the year with our final event – a social and informative session from expert Paul Adam on local restoration and conservation, including a history of the area and the environmental issues of today. Join us next Thursday, 4th December, at 5pm at the Randwick Wetlands!

The Randwick Wetlands is one of the last remnants of the chain of marshes that used to run from Centennial Park to Botany Bay. This parkland is being restored by the Randwick City Council and is of great ecological significance to the area.

Weather permitting we will be hosting a BBQ/picnic after the walk and talk. Stick around after the walk and meet some other members. Please BYO something for the BBQ and Sydney-SCB will supply sides, sauces and drinks (non-alcoholic).

In the event of rain, we will postpone in the new year. Look out on Facebook or email for an announcement if you are unsure on the day.

Go to our eventbrite link to RSVP – limited places!
